Has anyone used the coil spring and shackle lift on an '05 or '06 to lift it. Are shock replacement and added length brake lines a necessity or just optional? Looking for some advice if you know of anyone with experience in this area.

Thanks,

i have the coil/shackle lift. upgraded brake lines are not needed with the shackle lift, probably with the AAL.

upgraded shocks are not needed, but if you go off-road at all, extended ones in the rear are very helpful. I think the stock shocks limit you in the rear as it is. as for the front, i dunno. there weren't any replacement shocks for the front when i put the new coils in, so they max out alot....

overall, i like the lift, but if i had to do it over again, i might just go with radflos and TC ucas in the front.

Thanks for the reply. I've been waiting for that one for some time now. I will probably opt for the coils and shackles. However, forgive my ignorance, but what are the radflos and TC ucas? Would that be add-a-leaf rear springs and front upper control arms?

Thanks again,

radflos are replacement coil-over shocks for the front. the AC springs ride kinda rough, and you can get alittle more lift out of the radflos.
