I hope to avoid some of the problems I had with this model in future projects (mainly the orange peel apearance of the paint finish).

Cheers

Is it really your first model ever

If it is, you did a very good job

No, it's not my first model!

It's my first model car! I'm mainly interested in military models (and I've been modeling for more than 15 years now).

that is beautiful, aside from what you mentioned about the orange peel. a good color sanding, buff, and wax should take care of that though. I love the attention to details with the lights, exhaust, from what I can see of the interior. that is a fine build. you should paint the side vents on the K's bumper black or dark gray for a much more realistic look.

fine looking car!

Looks good, nice and clean. The orange peel doesn't look too bad but a good sanding and polish wouldn't hurt. Great job.

Turned out quite well for your first car build. Like everyone said a little sanding, light polish and wax and the orange peel will disappear.

Nice job. I was thinking of getting one of those and haven't seen one built. Now I have to get one that came out really nice.
