Hello,
I am assembling a 94 22re and I have taken many pictures, however there are 2 metal pipes that locate on the back of the head that I am at a loss to know what they attach to. O ne of the pipes has a rubber hose on it. I have searched my manuals and cannot find where they go.:banghead: I also have a stay arm that is about 10 inches long and forget where it goes, and a tubular pipe larger in diameter that I can't find in my pics and manuals. Can anyone offer up assistance?
Thanks,
cavf150

Have you looked at the factory service manuals available on this site?

If the pipes go into the back of the head, they are most likeley the coolant pipes that flow from the back of the head to the timing chain cover. Do the pipes look like they had coolant flowing through them?
Another possibility is that they are just the fresh air pipes (emissions related)...and leaving them off will only affect the ability for your vehicle to pass an emmissions inspection, but NOT affect driveability whatsoever.
