Body has been painted and polished. Came out pretty nice and my camera does not do it justice. Marks on body is just dust I failed to notice while taking the pics, and I'm too lazy to take them again. Still lot's of work left...

I was working this model a while ago too, but once I realized the body came out of the box crooked, I put it away and hid it forever.
I wonder if all the street version galants by hasegawa came out with such defective body:confused: I also have the rally galant and the body is fine. I also found a lot of flash around the parts in this kit, especially the vents at the front bumper. Afterall it is a very old tooling.
The paint looks good. Good luck on this model!

Nope, I'm going to make this one bone stock. I want to build a stock Evo to display next to it.

Finally finished the projects that sidetracked me on this one, back to work. Done a bunch of work on the chassis. My crappy digicam's battery is messed up, but pictures will be up soon.

Also, the instuctions say that the undercarriage of this car is grey, can anyone confirm this? Thanks.

I would still paint it flat black anyways, since most cars come with anti rust undercoating.

I wanted to make this one straight black on black.

The kit is being made box stock except for the wipers. Changed them out for photoetched ones. Kind of hard to see from the photos unfortunately, but I love how realistic photoetched parts look.
