I have a 2002 Deville with 78600 miles on it. I am getting a slight burning smell from the car when it is ran for a while. I have checked all the fluids and everything is full. I have also checked the belt to see if there is any signs of wear and that is okay also. The car was at the dealers for a problem not to long ago and they fixed that no problem. They didn't spot any other problems then either. Does anyone have an idea what is causing this smell???:shakehead

Probably a tiny oil leak. Valve cover gaskets are often the culprit, allowing a bit of oil to drip onto a hot exhaust manifold. It could be other things also. The best way to find it is to look harder for any leak, oil coolant, or transmission.
Good luck.

Sometimes my tires make that smell. It's from driving around turns on 2 wheels maybe? j/k
My tires really do stink after driving at higher speeds or long distances though.
