I have f-22a engine don't know the transmission well .
when the engine is turn on, its hard to shift to 1st gear have to shift it to 2nd gear first then 1st then it will engage and run.
I press/pump the clutch pedal many times still did'nt help.
. and sometimes at the speed of 40miles/hr its hard to go to the 3rd gear after I place it on nuetral after pressing the brake it will make a grrrrr sound before it will engage. easy to shift to the 4th ,and 5th gear,
after I place it to neutral it won't go back to 5th gear while runing at 65miles/hr. has to engage to 4th gear again before 5th.
when the ignition is off, it shift smoothly to all gears.
I check the brake fluid its in the right level

sounds like the clutch isnt disengaging all the way, check the system for leaks and bleed it, could be something else but its a good place to start

Bad synchros - common Honda problem. Sometimes my lude does the same thing. If I let the clutch out slowly while gently pushing the stick into first gear it will go into gear.

no, bleed the clutch system... the bleeder is on your slave cylinder by the transmission

They're built internally in the transmission.
