I love movies about cars

So, I went on a movie-buying-spree today... I bought Disney's Cars, and a 2-for-1 of Gumball Rally and Cannonball Run II.

Classics. Cannonball II not as good as #1, IMO.

I never saw the first! :eek2: It's highly amusing, though. I mean, can you go wrong with a movie including Burt Reynolds and Jackie Chan???

Actually, the first is pretty bad. I think I'm confusing "Death Race 2000", also with David Carradine, with Cannonball.

Either way, :bigthumb: good purchase!

Smokey and the Bandit 2 had the budget to do a good set of stunts, SATB3 was an utter utter dog.
And if you get the chance , get a copy of Christine and a copy of Duel.

Hmmmm, can't exactly say thats gonna win any Academy Awards, the cars will be the only thing that might save that movie. I just hope they don't cullshit the race scenes by driving really slow, but fast forwarding the action. I'm sure they will though with those exspensive cars.

I was trying to watch ALL the movies I bought yesterday (quite a line-up) but I didn't make it. I also bought The Illusionist (EXCELLENT movie) and another 2-for-1 Neverending Story and Neverending Story II.

One of the best movies. Also cant forget about Gone In 60 Seconds. (No, not the Nicholas Cage remake) The 1973-4 Toby Halicki version.

When I watched cars, i thought to myself (Gee.. I must be the only person over 12 that thinks the movie is darn cool)... guess I was wrong. :grinyes:
