So I just picked up an 04 GT. Cleaning it up a little bit, went to remove the Hyundai badge on the hood and it appeared that there is a hole in the hood and a pin on the back of the badge that fits into the hole. Am I correct in assuming the rear badge is the same? Im getting the Razzi wing very shortly so Im planning on shaving the keyhole and badge hole so no biggie, but the if I have to weld, mud, and respray the whole hood for that little hole Im not gonna be very happy. Why the hell would they do that?

There are actually 2 posts behind each of the "H" badges--hood and trunk. It makes it easy to line them up (or to line up the Tuscani ones in my case) but yeah, it's a pain if you want to go badgeless.
