Another Capacitor Question

Ok i finally got my capacitor in and now i need to hook it up. I read the through the instructions once so that i would know what i was doing tomorrow when i install it. Couple Questions tho.

Where do I hook the remote cable into on the cap? On the positive (+) terminal?

And ive heard from a lot of people that i have to charge it before i even hook it into the amp...How do i do that? The instructions dont really specify and i dont want to do anything to damage anything.

the cap needs no remote wire, unless maybe it has all those useless digital readout stuff on top of it. If it does, best thing to do is send it back.

to charge it, put like a 1K ohm resistor in line with the power wire from the battery while the caps gnd is connected. Only takes a few seconds.
