84 firebird and trans am differences?

I want to try and upgrade my Firebird to a Trans Am package, but first I need to know what the differences are. thank you.

One thing is an areo package (ground effects) and there is a suspension upgrade that is all i can think of right now

it really wouldnt be hard at all, if you can find a donor car it would be cheap. just get the nose, rear bumper, ground effects, hood, and tail lights, that is if your just wanting the look. if you really want to go all out, upgrade the suspension, and i recomend sub frame connectors, best $130 i ever spent in my life. i put them on my camaro and it handle great. especial if your firebird has t tops, no more dash rattles, no more t top popping. my t tops use to pop like they was gonna bust, not no more.

and lets not forget the engine....if it already has a v8 dont worry about it, but if its a 6, it needs a heart transplant, drop a healthy crate motor down in that baby and buld your tranny.
