anyone heard anything good on these. I under stand the wear life is about 6-10,000 before all for have to be replace at about $600 a corner because of the soft tread.
bmw of course is blaming the tire manufacturer's and the manufacturer's are blaiming bmw saying they built the tires to Bmw's special specs.
Cost to replace a set of four runs about $600 a corner and if done 3 times during a 36 month lease makes that already expensive lease even more so.
Plus if you damage one, you still have o put on 4 new ones because of different sizes front and back, tire pressure sensor issues, abs and dcs issues as well.
I would love to hear other thouths on this. On is to replace all four with new wheels and tradional tires and put th FOE back on when you turn in the lease. Another is tire insurance, but I am not even going to go there.
Any thoughts?:2cents:

I see the run-flats as a technology that hasn't quite made it yet. The theory behind them is great, but they arn't quite perfected yet. Personally, I wouldn't want them on any car I bought, but I would want my loved ones to have em.
