The car is not yet done and this is my first good 3D car drawing so advice would be of help to me.

Thanks Ahead of time.

yeah its pretty good, i would just work on the wheels more,

the porportions on the body looks really good, maybe the only thing with that is that the fron bumper and grill looks kinds flat,

try shadding it, then show us, thats the only way your going to lean is by practicing :D you can always draw more if you mess up

keep up that good work

iam glad the camaro inspired you, its makes me really happy iam helping people out :)

Thank a lot for putting your what you think. I will change those parts, and then shade in some areas. When light hits the car, where would there by a reflection/shade?

id imagine or draw a light bulb or the sun or somthing somewhere above the car, then imagine the truck in 3d, then imagine what surfaces, when looking at them from the angle you drew the truck, would the sun bounce or reflect off of like a mirror and go to you eyes, most the time its the areas of the car facing up like the top, lips corners, then also you got to put the dark/black areas in, these are the ones that would be reflecting the ground, or another dar surface, like the parts facing down usually, tire wells, door and panel cracks, shadow from the side mirror, or from vents, skirts fog light holes , etc.

:D

I don't mean to be harsh, but you're stressing too much.

Although i've still got a long way to go, I went through the stage where i produced a really good drawing and didn't want to stuff up the rendering.

It's good that you're asking questions but the best way to learn is to just have a go. Take a look at a picture of an escalade and take into account mycorrolas' tips and you will be well on your way.

As for what to use, use whatever you're comfortable with, Lead pencils, Coloured pencils, paint, anything!

Pretty good. Props on drawing a dub city model, they're pretty tricky.
