Hi i am new here and thought this site could help i have a friend who wasnt to know if this is true......
Cold Air Intake seems to be the first upgrade I will be able to do/afford. I am aware of most of the tech specs, and i know that the MAS (mass airflow sensor) will remain inplace, keeping the check engine light OFF thus, keeping my baby under warranty. I've heard that it is required to disconnect your battery while you install the CAI to guarantee that the CE light stays off?? Can anyone back that up??
thanks for any input you guys have
ps would like it asap and cool form  :bandit:

Hey bro. You DO need to disconnect the battery when you install the CAI, but that's only because the computer needs to reset itself to accomodate for the increased airflow. The O2 sensor is in the exhaust piping so you don't need to worry about the idiot ( CE ) light coming on. Hope this helps. :D :p
( hope this is cool enough for you ) :smoker2:
