Look in a Chiltons manual for the exact bolts and screws to loosen. But if you look at the alternator its pretty much self explanitory. You have the bolt ont the bottem the lets it pivot to tighten or loosen and then one at the top which is connected to that metal bracket with the track. Im going off of memory here. Ive done it 3 times in my talon and once in my eclipse, but im sure they are all basically the same. Make sure you disconnect the battery before doing all of this. You will also have the connector on the alternator to unplug and the power wire attatched to it that u need to disconnect. That should be about it.

It's a fuckin BITCH. It's back behind the motor on the passenger side of the car in the corner towards the bottom, it's hard as hell to physically get out. You have to unbolt the tensioner bolt (14 or 15mm wrench/socket), unplug the connector, unbolt the battery cable (10mm socket) and then unbolt the actual "swivel" bolt. Good luck.
