Yeah, so I'm full of project ideas. Hush your mouths.
Where can I find a good, well detailed and molded Chevy smallblock? I'd ideally want a 350 out of a mid-'90s Camaro or Firebird, but (I think) those kits aren't exactly laying about on hobby shop shelves. See, I've got this Tamiya RX-7 Efini laying in my closet, and with it's opening hood and engine bay, it could stand to have a 350 frankensteined in. It's such a common swap in 1:1, it needs a model made of it.

One of the better late 90's Chevy small blocks I have seen is in the 39' Wagonrod Kit.
It is the newer LS1 version versus the older LT1 version.
Like the new Corvettes, and 98+ Camaros had.
Might be able to find that kit around a little easier.

Wagonrod (AMT/ERTL) has a ZR-1 engine. Revell makes good Chevy Small Blocks. What are you looking to do? Fuel Injection? Carbs?

Most "K B Toys" stores around the US (I've seen them in Hawai'i, California, Oregon, Washington and maybe Georgia last year) stocks a AMT/ERTL 1996 Pontiac Firebird Formula with a LT1. And the kit is usually between $9-$11, and who knows they could have a sale too.
