2000 Durango - Wiper fluid not pumping

I have a 2000 Dodge Durango (SLT). I thought I was out of front wiper fluid, but found the resevoir was plenty full. Front wipers work fine, fluid just won't spray on the windshield anymore. The rear works just fine. Do these operate on the same pump? Could this be a fuse, motor, or other problem?

Steve,
Same thing happened to my '99....wipers ok, rear wiper and spray ok, but no front spray.

I ended up taking the front wiper arms entirely off, then removing the plastic 'cowling' across the front to get to the tubing that goes to the spray nozzles. There's a fitting that splits the flow to the two nozzles, and it includes a check-valve. The check valve had failed and wouldn't let fluid flow to the nozzles.

I replaced the fitting with a simple tee fitting and just eliminated the special check valve. Look in Advance Auto or someplace like that, for fittings for vacuum lines.

Been working fine for the last 6 months.

You might try looking at that.

Good luck and let us know what you find.

the motor is on the passenger side front, on the engine shroud. check and make sure the motor operates.
