Tail light removal and install... H E L P !!!

Thanks in advance to all who graciously advise those with less experience...

I looked through the Hayes manual, nothing on tail light install etc. anyone install clear tail lights? I got some smoked crome ones on ebay, they look sick, I just need a little trouble shooting???
