i was just kinda wondering how many miles to a full tank...those if you who drive only highway miles and get like 29MPG ALL THE TIME please dont reply.
im trying to get an average i do mostly town driving with a stop light every 7 miles or so. and its about 25 miles round trip for me.
i get about 200 miles until the fuel light turns on with a 00 GTP and 99,000 miles i do beat on my car at least once a trip

Something is not right. :shakehead
That means you are only getting 11-12 mpg if we are dealing with a full 17 gallons. I'm moderately modded and my DIC typically reads around 17 mpg which is pretty close to my manual calculations after filling up and running the tank until the low fuel light comes on. My driving with my GTP is predominantly in city with some but limited freeway.
I would get a gas can and fill it up with a few gallons. Carry it in the trunk. Although not recommended run the fuel all the way out. Only way to tell for sure how much reserve you really have when the low fuel light comes on. When you run out of fuel just make sure you do several primes at ignition on before going to start and it should fire right up.....hopefully. Also, it may reveal whether you have an error in the analog fuel gauge and level system.

:dunno: Beats me.
As I mentioned in the other thread a common problem is the fuel level sending unit which seems logical to me. They get whacko :screwy: after about 4+ years.
