3.8 to 302 in 87

My 87 has a 3.8 that is going downhill. I'm thinking about putting a 302 in it. Does anybody know anything about a swap or info on the trannies or anything?

I've heard of people swapping 3.8's for 302's but it's a pain. Is the 302 fuel injected for carb. If it's carb it's not so bad, if it's injected then you have the right computer for the motor and rerun all the right wires for the motor and find a trans that will bolt on the 302 and be able to handle it with no problems. keep me posted on what you decide to do.:bloated:
