9:1 compression
I want to turbocharge this motor. I have a t-3 with a .60 AR housing. I have the equiptment to fabricate a set of stainless steel headers. What ecu changes upgrades will I need to perform? what about cams? what is the stock duration? help. please any info is much appreciated.

you got a big job ahead of you. that things gonna boogie though. what kind of intercooler do you plan on using?

Interestingly, I have been in contact with a group called CTC Motorsports in Dallas. There involved in a mod for 1997 Max (VQ30) to add a hybrid turbo that will pump the HP to over 500 at the wheels. There are changing out the piston and rods, air intake, adding an Intercooler of course, new manifold. But all the work is custom. CTC has a web site, maybe they'll answer a question or two.

I am considering it, just need someone to drop 10K in my lap :rolleyes:
