Fourth Gen VQ35

What do you guys know about a VQ35 swap into a fourth gen?

...just 6cyl Engine possibly attached to a tranny ... never seen one , I'd start by readin all available factory info, check via top left links on http://www.cardomain.com/ride/748507/25

for one, id say figure out how to adapt a VG30 mechanical throttle body to the manifold of the vq, since the vq has no throttle cable...that plus id say you would have to find someone good enough at reprogramming ecu's to make the vq work.
or you could skip all that, get a whole front clip, and bolt every thing up to your 4th gen.
and i mean everything.

yeah but youd still have to program it to work with the vq engine and still use some of the vg systems. its not as easy as you think. you cant just get a standalone and have it run any engine/chassis combo plug and play...

I know that AEM has some plug and play system for the VQ. But at the same time, I heard something about the later model ecus for the VQ were also needed for basic operations like running the gauges, so that would be a problem.

Wow, that's a lot simpler than fucking around with a standalone. I wonder what he used for the engine and tranny mounts...
