Heater Blower

When I turn my heater on for the first time when I start my car and crank it up all the way, I get a burning smelll. But when I turn it down all the way it stops. Once in a while it will shut off for a few seconds if I have it cranked up all the way. But when slow it down it starts back up. About 2 months ago my dad took the motor out and it had debris in it that caused it to vibrate. My dad also lubed the bearings with Tri-Flow. I have a 2000 GTP with the digital dual climate control.

If it still works on all speeds, it's most likely a blower motor problem. If you're also losing certain speed settings, then the blower module could be the issue.
