96 blazer with 95 fuel pump and now is leaking

:banghead: I have a 96 blazer that had a 95 fuel pump and sending unit installed and now it is leaking form a hose that vents air from the fuel line. Can this be cuasing the fuel leak ? Everyone says that the 96 pump was model yr specific. Any help would be appreciated:banghead:
