My starter is on the last leg right now. I am going to replace it this weekend. Is any members have any suggestions on how to replace this starter? I have not done this before. I need all of the helps I can. Thanks in advance.

When replacing the starter the exhaust will be in your way. There are several ways around this. Some will disassemble the starter to get it in and out. Others unbolt the engine from the mounts and lift the engine to gain access. I think the best method is to remove the Y-pipe. The only possible snag here is that you risk breaking the studs that hold the pipe to the manifold. Get yourself some PB Blaster (not WD-40) and spray that stuff on the exhaust bolts repeatedly and let it soak in overnight or longer. Hopefully this will allow you to remove the y-pipe without breaking anything.

That's if you have 4x4. 4x2 is easier. No exhaust troubles, I believe.

Where can I buy this PB Blaster at? I had V6 3.2L 4x4. Thanks.

are you saying you don't know what the starter looks like, or where it is on your rodeo?

if so, you might want to get a repair manual, even chilton's or haynes, or factory
www.helminc.com (http://www.helminc.com) or online www.alldata.com (http://www.alldata.com) so you at least get orientated...
