Best fix would be to move to FL. :grinyes: They do have silicon in an aerosol spray can. Apply some to the rubber seal around the door, it may help some. Not much you can do when you get freezing rain, snow or ice on the car.

Would try silicone spray to the rubber or maybe some liquid wrench. For more extreme cases use white lithium grease.

freezing rain or high humidity freezing dew is going to cause an ice bridge metal to metal, treating the rubber is useless. take a mug of luke warm water out with you and pour it over the door frame. the auto parts store also sell aerosol de-icers.
a long time ago a friend of mine showed me how to thaw out a frozen door lock. we were miles out of town duck hunting and it was -18f. got back to the car and the key wouldn't turn the frozen door lock so he unzipped and peed on it. kinda gross but got us back to town.
