Can't see a thread anywhere here for em, and I tend to do that, so here is one.

I discovered them downloading high-rated tabs for guitar pro, and Dialogue with the Stars had 35 thousand downloads, and so I download the song as well but never really got into them much.

I saw them live in July of 04, but I only went to see Chimaira, and never really got into them.

Late last year, I don't know what happened, or how it did, or why, but I started randomly listening to some songs I had on the computer, downloaded a few more, and ended up buying every single album they had (except for the first one, can't find it!), the live tokyo showdown CD and the live DVD.

These guys are absolutely awesome and have changed my views on European metal forever.

Alas, I can't actually find my whoracle album case (still have the CD) or the DVD, I think I left them at my mates, but I'm freakin out about it but w/e.

If you haven't heard many songs, I really recommend these:

The Quiet Place
Dark Signs
Trigger
Reroute to Remain
The Jester's Dance
Moonshield
Everything Counts
Coerced Coexistence
Ordinary Story
Jotun
December Flower
Bulletride
Clayman
Pinball Map
Only For the Weak
My Sweet Shadow
F(r)iend
Whoracle

... The list just goes on.

I can't wait to see em live next time they come out! Damn me for not being into them them :screwy:

Everything before Colony is br00tal. Everything after sucks. That is the true In Flames fan's perspective.

I, for one, enjoy it all, although the old stuff is obviously much better than the new stuff.

Reroute to remain was pretty awesome

Sound track to your escape is sweet too but i haven't listened to all of it yet, and come clarity is... well... i haven't made up my mind

I'm learning the solo to December Flower now :-D

I've seen them afew times, they live in my town ;) I think my friends parents played a symphony or something with the bassist once. Imo, they've made one song, copy-pasted it 200times, and changes afew words in the lyrics. And all i recall from the last concert was that all the fans tried to murder me to get up to the front fence, and that they yelled out in Swedish: Let me hear Gothenburg scream!
