Welcome to the forums! First thing to check is to make sure you have a good connection between the switch and the electrical connector. You can also take the time to clean the contacts on the switch to see if that solves your problem. I own two Chevy Ventures ( sister to the Montana,) and have replaced the switches in both my vehicles. The drivers' side switch is a master switch which controls both sides, so if your driver's side is still working, I would tend to think your passenger side switch is faulty if it still doesn't work after checking the contacts and connection. You can get a new one at the parts department of your local GM dealer, or even order one online through one of the many GM parts depts. that sell online. I have found many of these online dealers are less expensive, even with shipping costs added in. You could try one from your local salvage yard, but be sure it works before you purchase it.

If you are handy with tools and can use an ohm meter/tester, check out the page below:

I am having the same problem. Passenger window is half way down and it has been subzero here in MN. Driver's side switch does nothing. Passenger side switch will only put it further down. Have taken out the switch and cleaned the contacts. We would just be happy if someone could tell us how to manually raise the window until we can get it fixed.....Please....IT'S COLD!

If you take a look at the schematic diagram on the link I gave above, you may be able to figure it out.

If not, try the following, assuming you have the same year as mine:
1 - Pry up the switch panel on the passenger side
2 - Pull the plug out of the bottom of the switch
3 - Get a battery (12 Volt) and connect the negative side to the Brown wire at pin E (in the plug you just pulled out)
4 - Connect the positive side to the Dark Blue wire at pin A (of the plug)

Just "tap" the last wire to the plug to make sure the motor is going in the right direction (UP). Once confirmed, hold it there until the window is up. If it is going down instead of UP, swap the wires around.

Take Care,
