I keep getting these CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL messages and I cant seem to get rid of them. The level is perfect, but that is just going by the dipstick. I thought maybe because it was started cold, but now it happens when the truck has been running 30min+. Any ideas?

Are you sure it's "Check engine Oil" Not "Change Engine Oil"?
Try going out putting the Key in the run position, pressing the gas 3 times quickly in succession Turning the truck back off.
Open your door, Close your door, then try starting it back up again and see if it does it again.
Just a thought anyways....

Yep, im positive that it says check engine oil level. I have reset it twice, but the message still pops up.

You may have a bad oil pump or a bad sensor. I would get it checked out right away.

yah if you reset it there is another sensor telling you that..you might want to check oil sending unit or pcv valve....good luck.....

I had the same issue with my 99. Oil level is fine, as well as oil pressure. At the same time I was having this issue coincidentally my battery died. I had it recharged and put it back in and now I dont get the warning. I'm not saying your battery is going to die, but pulling the battery made mine go away. Hopefully it stays gone and doesn't result in something even worse down the road.
