Help with taking apart handle assembly - 2002 GMC Envoy XL

The unit that houses my power window, seat heater, and door lock on my passenger side has fallen inside the door. Can anyone tell me how I remove the plate so I can snap them back in? The plate the sit in is attached to the inside door handle, and I can't figure out if I have to take the whole door off, but it appears that the casing may just be snapped in so if someone can describe how to get it out I should be able to fix it myself.
