I've heard alot of good stuff about MSD, which is why I'm going that route... Full MSD setup would probably cost you around $200 if you hunt around for good deals (MSD ignition control, MSD Blaster 2 Coil, MSD modified distributor cap).

I went all MSD. I got he MSD SCI ignition controller, MSD blaster coil, and the MSD modified dizzy cap. I definately felt alot smoother ride in the higher rpm

The 6A is the basic MSD ignition. The 6AL has a built in adjustable rev-limiter... If you want the rev-limiter, go with the 6AL, but if not, the 6A would be just fine.
The 6T is mainly for off-road or high-vibration extreme conditions operation.
The 6BTM is for forced induction engines and includes a control for retarding the timing up to 3°.
As far as the other stuff you need:
Modified distributor cap (part number: MSD-8290)
MSD Blaster, Blaster 2, or Blaster 3 Coil

I have the MSD set-up including SCI w/ rev limit box, High-vibration coil(can be mounted in ANY posistion unlike others on the market), modified distrib. cap w/ external coil hook-up, & 8.5mm SC wires. The controller box requires cutting & splicing wires in & out side of the cap. Very simple hook for all parts. I have some pics of the finsihed install but need to scan them & shit. soon i will post a few.
Accel makes a kit that requires no cutting/spicing of any wires. Every thing comes with connection to fit OEM parts. Seems like a simple install. Do know of any one w/ that set-up

msd kicks ass... it was close to 300 with the box, the coil the cap and the wires, but it made starting a lot easier and smoother, the engine ran smoother over all + slight gas milage increases... but it def. looks hella cool in the engine bay too though

i have the box & coil hidden from view. box is installed behind the glove box & the coil is mounted under the CAI tube. only down side of having the box inside the car is the noise.
