yep thats right. a zune or creative 30gb mp player. not too sure which one quite yet though. y no ipod you say? i cant stand those damned things. installed itunes on my comp for a friend that got one for xmas and wouldn't let me say what i wanted synced onto it. so i gave up. its too complicated and dont want my music locked to this computer only.

so basically im looking to see if i can just drag and drop, into like a folder that says music or something on it with the original file names. its easier to organize that way for me. without having to go through zune or itunes or wmp and things like that. anyone know either of these players?

the zune seems pretty cool. i like it, but its a little pricey. still less than an ipod, but too much for me.

I own a Creative Zen Vision:M 30 GB. Pretty nice machine, but you will need some type of software to transfer stuff to it, whether it be WMP or their Mediasource. I don't think there really are any good MP3/Video players out there right now with drag-and-drop capability. I would recommend this thing over a Zune or Ipod anyday. The Zune just looks stupid, and the Ipod is overpriced.

Everything I've read says stay the hell away from Zune.

So, Creative.
