ABS/Trac lights

Just got my oil changed on the 2000 SE. The SES, Trac Control and the ABS lights are now all on. It has been raining and damp here for the last two weeks. I have no idea why they would all come on. The last time I had the ABS light come on it eventually went off. When these things get wet, do they throw these lights?

If it has bad wiring wet weather could affect them and also if a wheel slips could help trigger code if they are not working right.
If lights are on you need to get code checked.
And for the ABS part you will need a ABS capable scanner to get codes and read out BS data.
Post back code no and some one can help.

A ABS capable scanner is whats needed here.
THough I will say its probly one of your wheel/hub sensors that are bad.
My GT does this when it gets wet(which has been all winter), so I just turn off the Trac control and it usually doesnt trip the lights. Its my right one thats bad :(
But if mine come on, they go off when I shut off my car.

It's weird, I drove 40 miles to go shopping and the lights never came on. When we left the mall they came on. It drives me crazy cause just when you think it is going to stop, they come back on. They are off when I start the car then about 10 seconds later they come on all of a sudden, first the abs light, then the SES and Trac.

First always check the brake fluid level.
Are all tires matched or a tire low on air pressure?
Does it go threw the bulb check when first started?
Check all wiring and plug ins on wheels and ABS/TRAC brake units.
If no problems there you will need the ABS scanner to check things out.
If you can get any codes post back code no/no's.

You are welcome and thanks for posting the fix.
Glad all is well.
And yes they are expensive.
