96 intrepid engine tap

ok we know that it is the connecting rod bearing but we dont know how we can get it to go away. weve replaced the bearing numerous times and get the same results. how do we make it stop?? weve tried ovesized or undersized bearings (not sure of the termonology) and nothing works.

is it a tap of knock, usually rod bearings will knock. Possibly the rod bore is out os round. When your replacing the bearings are you also checking the clearance on the rod bearings, whats the oil pressure at during idle?

oil pressure is fine but the crank i know is out of oe specs so what can i do?:banghead:
