There are numerous posts about this on this forum, just use the search tool to look for Headlights or something.

to be terribly honest, it shouldn't have taken the guy at autozone so much work to try to figure it out. just being that i work at a competing auto parts store, i'm familiar with autozone's downfalls.

now, take the rubber grommet off the back of the housing. if you can't figure it out from there, take it to a shop.

I still can't believe there have been this many posts on here about the same issue with the headlights...yeah It may be a little tricky, but god damn, it isnt rocket science. Not to mention, if you NEED to take out the headlight assembly to get your hands in there, it only takes like 1 min to get the whole assembly out. It took me 20 min to put my projectors in, and get them wired up with my HID's, and 15 minutes of that was figuring out where to mount the ballasts (which by the way if anyone has questions about ballast mounting locations, i will be more than happy to put up some pics of where mine are mounted.).

You got HID's to fit in your projectors?

Hells yes I did...they make HID applications for any car/truck/suv/bike. As long as you order the same stock bulb type in the HID bulb it will fit. My projectors are an H7/H3 (H7 low/H3 High). As you can see by my profile and sig pics I have both the highs and lows wired to be on when just the Lows are on. Soon I will replace my H7 low beam with an HID kit and will have mad crazy headlights.

I knew about needing to order the right size but i was told the HID bulbs are to long for the projector housing.

Well...they must have been wrong because mine work just fine. I would say get some because they kick ass.

What bvand are your headlights and did you have to put spacers?

I got the kit from some Japanese guy off Ebay (Co-Way is the brand, but i have had zero luck searching for that brand of HID). They were only like $190, and I wasnt expecting them to be that great, but they work fantastic. The ballasts are a little loud, but nothing that anyone can hear unless the car is off and you tell them what to listen for near the hood. As for spacers...not sure what you mean...all I did was take out the regular halogen bulb from the headlight, swap it out for the HID bulb, drill a bigger hole for the new wires, mount the ballasts, splice some wires, and that was it...rock and roll. Easy as pie. I have been running them for about 8 months now, and have never had a problem with them firing up and running fine. From time to time they will flicker if I go over a big bump, but it isnt anything major, I just notice them flicker for like a fraction of a second and them go back to normal (but like I said, only when I hit a big pothole or bump or something). As for the temp, mine are 12000K, which probably actually look like 10000K if you were to get a real name brand...but who the hell cares. I spent less than 1/3 the price of a name brand kit, and I bet you I would fool 9 out of 10 people if I asked them if they were name brand or not (because I dont know if there is any way to tell the difference other than looking at the setup). Clean, easy install...looks factory unless you knew what was there before. I just need to figure out where to put another set of ballasts when I get my lows in HID's. I also need to figure out how to get to the Halo bulb so I can replace it with an LED so the halo ring isnt that yellow color...thats the only thing that looks weird with them right now.

OH sry I shoulda been more specific.
I ment what beand are the housings not the bulbs. And did you save to put spacers to get the housings to look flush. (problem with certin brands is that the headlight housing sits to low and leaves a space between it and the hood/body)

Oh right, I am not sure what brand the housings are, I got them off Ebay. I know they are not the nice, nice ones, I think I paid like 160 for the set (I cant remember for sure, I got them about a year ago and back then there were only a few types on Ebay). They fit fine, and are still DOT approved. I went with this brand simply because they had the Ion Blue projector lenses, which I think look way better when the lights arent on. I might swap them out for a set that has the projector as the low beam, and ones where the HALO is pure white, instead of that shitty ass yellow. I was not aware there were some brands that didnt fit right...as far as I can tell mine look tits other than the HALO.
