gear shifting

have 90 probe lx and when starting out in od willrun like in 2nd gear and will take awhile to act like it is in drive, what does it need? funny thing it didn't do this until i just changed the plugs and wires, can't believe this had anything to do with it:screwy:

Hi, If you are SURE you had no problem before the plugs and wires were changed, Start LOOKING for any loose wire connectors and vacume hoses and make sure the large rubber flex hose to the air box from the throttle body is not loose or CRACKED in between one of the ribs, You had to disrupt something when you did the work...Good Luck,, Clay..
