Mitsubishi Galant 2003 transmission fluid

Would you expect mayor problems in using Dexron III transmission fluid instead of the recommended Diamond SP III?

Not major, but it is not right. There are additives to modify dexron III to diamond spec. IIRC, one product is called lubeguard black?

Extended running on dexron III could lead to premature failure of the clutches.

Dont skimp on this. Replace 6+ qts @4.99/qt...local dealer price...simple drain plug ..non serviceable filter..
