coolant codes on 95 neon

hi guys its been awhile brewster here on my daughters car a 95 neon it has quit on her 2 times in the last week both times its been raining I don't know if that had anything to do with it because when I raised the hood everything was dry I get a code of 117 and 118 which says coolant low and coolant high crazy you can't have both can ya, any way I though there might be some water in the gas so I put in dry gas then I thought maybe fuel filter so I put that on , you can here the fuel pump running also it has 52 lb's of pressure at the rail it calls for 49 lbs I only know this because of you guys tomorrow I'm going to change the thermostate and coolant sensor what else could make it quit ,can the coolant sensor tell the computer that it over heating and make it stall out ? fuel pump going bad ? I like working on this car because I get to buy new tools and I have learned alot about how these things work and I don't want to stop and I owe most out it to you guy's so any help or questions you can answer will be greatly appreciatited ? :screwy: well I know I spelled that wrong anyway thanks guys brewster

The computer could be sending the wrong code about the coolent. you might want to check that. another thing you also might want to check is the fuel to air mixture. if it's too lean or too rich it can cause the engine to stall.
