Hi there
I have a 95 buick regal, engine 3.8, I just separated my engine from the transmission, and found oil in the clutch of the transmission. I was wondering if this is normal, or could it be a problem with my transmission.. Before I had no previous problems with my transmission, but now I'm really worried because I have to put back my new engine, and I'd like to know if there could be a problem with the transmission.

thank you

Hi there

thanks for replying, it's not the motor oil it's the tranny fluid comming from the transmission. I just found oil in the clutch when I separated the clutch from the engine. I have taken out the engine out of the car, and the clutch is full of transmission oil. Do you think that this could be a abnormal???

Are you refering to the torque convertor? Having ATF in it is normal.
