Dunno, how hard have you tried?

Even if it's rare, kits tend to show up on Ebay. But for 'rare' OOP kits, each kit is found and bought on an individual basis. There's no good way to know how hard it will be to find one, or how much it will cost you when you do. You may get lucky if you're patient.

Sure, but there are general trends. An AMT 57 Chevy can be found in each toilette, a 1/12 Mclaren M23 can be seldom found below 100US$. Exceptions are there, I know, I am asking about the nominal value of the kit and how rare it is.

Thanks

those are fairly rare, only released in the 60's, although value is tough to find out my guess on one's i've seen on EBAY and at shows is roughly $150-$200

As rare as your wallet will let you go. But..yea..pretty rare. I love that site. It's like a bed of ideas and treasure hunt kits. Like your example. Good luck if you are intending to find it.

I have the kit. Got it as a gift in the mid-80's. It's an interesting model. I can take some photos of the content to see if you're still interested in looking for one.

About 2 years ago I was offered $125 for mine, which has all the parts but loose in the box and the box is in so-so shape. I've heard of a pristine box example going for over $150.
