Nah, wait till' you get the rims. If not, people just goin' to be sayin' your a ricer(oh, I hate that word. used way too much). Yeah, keep it clean. I think Civics look the best in black. IMHO.:grey:

I hate Civics, but that one ain't bad. If i was you, I would keep it stock, but that's just me: I hate "Fast and the Furious" type cars. If I was planning on doing what you are, I agree with that other guy: wait till you get the rims to lower, then it won't look bad.

Hey people. I'm new to this site and thought I'd say hello and show you what I drive!
Well, this is my new pride and joy. It's a 1999 Citroen Xsara VTR Coupe, finished in Helios yellow metallic.
It's got a 1.8 litre 16v engine, 5sp gearbox, disc brakes all round, climate control/electric windows and mirrors, remote locking/deadlocks/alarm, etc etc..
Ive just added the 16"x7" AZ Brio dark chrome alloys on 195/45R16 Falken ZE tyres, and Ive got alowered suspension kit on order, drop it about 40mm.
The Citroen Xsara range is very closely related to the excellent Peugeot 306 hatches (both part of the PSA group), they share engines/transmission and chassis. Needless to say the Xsara handles like a dream and has a typically French comfortable ride too.
Hope you like it! :sun:

Hi, thank you.
According to the 'book' the 1.8 16v in the Xsara is only 112bhp, but I think the engine is tuned for good torque as it is fantastc at overtaking in say 3rd gear. If I am doing 70mph on the motorway I can acclerate in 5th gear very quickly lol!!

you're welcome .. good torque means good acceleration and no need many gear changes .. :)
