2002 Dodge Ram alarm lock???

I have a 2002 Dodge Ram....nothing works, no lights, no power, won't turn over but a red light is lit on the dash. Owners manual only tells me what it is but doesn't tell me what to do about it.

How do I disengage the alarm if in fact that is what it is. I've tried the remote but it does nothing...doesn't even unlock the doors. :banghead:

try locking and unlocking either door from the outside with the key, if it does not work possibly the ctm may be a faulty. Is you batteries in the remote ok??
