2000 maxima keyless problems!!!

I have a 2000 nissan maxima. The problem I'm having is the doors keep locking and unlocking by themselves. Also the keyless remote stops working all together. I've tried reprogramming the remote and it works for about a day or so then stops again. I think it may be a bad keyless entry module. Any one have any ideas?? please help... thanx

You can usually open the keyless remote and take an old toothbrush and brush off any dirt or lint that is in the remote. It sounds like something is keeping the contacts connected in the remote. That would explain your doors acting up and the remote battery draining fast.
