1999 Alero with starting difficulty

I have a 99 Alero with a 3.4L V6. Last week, the car would start and then die within seconds. A couple of days later, the car started but none of the gauges worked and a few days after that, the car started and all the gauges worked. The gauges and "key clicker" door locks randomly don't work (more often when its raining) sometimes and others they're fine. The car is sometimes very sluggish when trying to accelerate. Here is a rundown of all recent attempts to cleanse the demons from my car: new MAF sensor, new fuel pump and filter, new blower fan resistor pack, new wheel bearing assemblies, new air filter, new spark plugs and wires, and less than one year ago, I had my heads redone. Lately, it has been making some lifter noise (I am having them replaced soon). I have had a transmission trouble shooter program run on the car, the transmission is fine and the service engine light is on, it is an "evap" code. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, and does anyone know where to find a wiring diagram for this car. My boyfriend thinks some part of the problem may be electrical in nature, thanks!

Welcome to AF !

So Do you have any wet spots inside the car?

If you have a sunroof, they are prone to leak and run down the pillars right on to the fues boxes in the ends of the dash.

Also prone to BCM failures because of this fuse box shorting out.
With a BCM failure you can have all sorts of electrical porblems.

Best bet here is to get it scanned(since the SES lights on) and by a good scanning tool, and not autozone L-cheap-o's.

With the EVAP code, it varies what can casue this.
Read this here (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=622475)for more info on the elusive leaks.

ALSO thier is no need to post multiple threads,
