hesitation on forward and reverse

I have a 94 RM wagon. It hesitates if touching the gas lightly from full stop. This happens in forward and reverse. It seems more pronounced in reverse. I changed air, oil filter, oil, plugs, distributor cap and rotor. It runs fine otherwise. Any clues?
