94 Geo Prizm clutch problems

This morning I went to start the car and clutch went all the way to the floor board. I popped the hood and the clutch fluid resevoir was empty. So I put some fluid in and the clutch works but still is loose although enough to change gears. Anyone have any ideas? Is the clutch going out or is there something simply I can do?
