help the EC Light is on!!

Does anyone know how to get this to turn off?

When I first turn the car on it is on. I turn the key off and then on and I am able to turn the EC off. There is also a clicking in the engine when the light is on, but disappears when I turn the EC off. Any help would be appreciated.

just a little insight on the EC light. That light/button turns your AC compressor on or off regardless of Air conditioning command. If the light is on it is because the AC control module has sensed a fault in the AC system and turned the compressor off automatically. This is usually caused by a low refrigerant level in the system due to a leak. Have the refrigerant level checked and the system leak tested.
