Is there a better wiring diagram of the stereo system than that of the one in the Haynes manual? I've had a few years experience reading basic electrical diagrams, and for some reason this one seems just a bit vague.
Basically, I want to rip out the internal amp that comes with the car, and wire all the speakers up to the original harness that way I can install an aftermarket stereo without need of the extra install harness for the infinity amp thats under the passanger seat.

I'm sure you can find one somewhere. Best place would be Best Buy or Circuit City and ask for a print out of it. They got great diagrams\.

Ok, so based upon that thread (and from what I'm gathering from my trial and errors so far), I'm going to take those wires from the amp plug, splice them, and run them up the the connector that connects to the stereo unit, correct?

^this doesn't include the tweeters... but all you have to do is make a crossover... or you could remove them... well, it's at least a link to the12volt.com for future wiring information... (they have alarm, cruise, stereo, etc information) ;)
