2000 S-10 Driver Side Wet Floor

I've got a damp driver's side wet floor. This summer when I had the AC on I would hear a gurgle sound. I thought it might be a clogged AC drain line but I looked all over and couldn't find it. The floor in the cab never got wet so I sort of let it go. I'm wondering now if it's now starting to overflow into the cab. I also read some threads on the heater core but that sounds like it leaks on the pass. side and it's dry over there. I'm looking for some ideas on what it might be. Is there a drain line?

There is a core case drain, but it is on the right side. Water intrusion on the left side can be from a windshield/cowl seal leak, leakage from road spray through the throttle cable opening, steering column seal, or even through the steering column itself:

yeah hes got a point, its probably something simpler than you expect. I get that gurgling when I shift out of second at high speed. I thnk its normal.

I had the same problem, I was getting wet inside my cab. Turns out the driver door hinges had worn through their collars. In turn the door would sag and the weather stripping wouldnt line up properly.

Check to make sure your door is lining up when you close it.

The parts to replace the hinges and collars was only $40.

I had the same problem on an old Chevy Beretta I had. It got to the point I heard sloshing. Lifted carpet could have stocked fish in the pool of water. I took it to a auto glass business. He checked the car out. Told me window seals etc were fine. Then told me about steering column seal. Went to hardware store. Got some of the putty they use as duct seal. Applied it arouund stearing column outside firewall.

POOF! No more water!

Cost like $2.00 and 10 min work.
