(im running win XP) In the event I do get it opened can I put it in a fast open file? and/or burn to cd . . & how? thanks

What manuals are you referring to? An owner's manual that you downloaded from the Ford website?

What is the file extension? I thought the owner's manual from Ford's site is a PDF format which would open with Adobe Reader or Adobe Professional.

Does the site you downloaded the manual from suggest a particular program and version to open the files?

You should probably peruse the Torrent FAQ/help link at the referenced site. It explains what needs to happen.

When you download the .iso file (not just the torrent file) you need to burn the file as an ISO image to CD using the appropriate software (Nero, Roxio, etc). Once you have the image on CD, then you can install it from the burned CD using the setup.exe file.
