Windshield wipers won't work

I bought a 93 sentra that came from the States, so it did not have a daytime running light module, so one was put in after market by the dealership I bought it from. But the way they installed it, the lights would go on when I turned the key to ACC so I could not have my radio on with my lights off. So I decided to get that fixed, I took it to a guy that said he could easily fix it, and he did. But a couple days after he fixed the lights I tried to use my wipers and they didn't work. There was no noise from the motor, and they wouldn't spray either. It just seemed dead. I checked the fuse and it was ok. I don't know if the guy that fixed the lights could have cut a wire or something, but i don't think anything was cut or not connected (it didn't look like it). I also installed a new deck in my car, but I don't think there is anything to do with the wipers near the stereo, but I could be wrong. So could something have died on me? Could it have been something the mechanic or I did? Or could it be something else?

Well, I took it to get it checked. And for all of you that were as confused as I was, I'm embarassed to say that it was actually just the fuse. The fuse was ok, but apparently it wasn't in all the way. Which kind of confused me, because I actually took it out and replaced it. But that's what the problem was.
